Street Art and Coffee

Today was all about people-watching and soaking up the local street art. Banja Luka’s murals are on the city’s “must-do” list, so naturally, I wandered through the lanes to check them out. Having spent time in Ajijic, where murals are vivid, story-filled masterpieces that practically speak to you, Bosnia’s versions felt a little more subdued—but charming in their own right.

The real show, though, was at the café. As I sipped my coffee, I watched the locals—laughing, chatting, stylishly dressed, and completely unhurried. There’s an ease to life here that’s hard not to admire. Bosnia might just be the most relaxed European country I’ve visited so far.

Tomorrow, I hop back on the bike and pedal south—adventure calling once again!
