The sun finally decided to make an appearance today, so I took that as my cue to head off to Dim Cave. I’ve seen a lot of caves in my travels, but honestly—this one might just take the crown.
Legend has it the cave was discovered by a goat herder out for a wander one day (as you do). Inside, it’s pure magic: dramatic curtains of stalactites hanging from above and towering stalagmites rising up like something from a fantasy film. I may have stood there for a while with my mouth slightly open.
After emerging back into daylight, it was straight back to Alanya for lunch, where I enjoyed a falafel salad … well, mostly. The restaurant cat clearly felt it was a shared experience, and who am I to argue with a local?
