Tacos, Tough Kids and My Unexpected Gangster Reputation 🌮

Three classes with the older kids, one translator by my side, and a backpack full of travel stories—what could possibly go wrong?

Honestly, I had so much fun in every class… but the last group? They took things to another level.

Apparently, riding a Honda Shadow through the Americas officially qualifies me as a gangster—and not just any gangster… a taco gangster. I mean, I’ll add that to the CV.

What started as a slightly panicked ā€œOMG, what have I done… I’m not kid-friendly… someone rescue me!ā€ quickly turned into laughter, connection, and moments I genuinely loved. Funny how that happens when you just lean into the chaos.

And here’s the real plot twist—put a teacher in the room, and suddenly these wild little legends transform into angels. Timing is everything!

In the end, I walked away smiling, a little more confident, and really grateful for the experience. Safe to say, Bulgaria has made a lasting impression… and it’s officially locked in for my next European adventure.
