My New Adventure Is My Old Adventure

Well… things haven’t quite worked out as planned — but maybe that’s exactly how they’re supposed to be.

I was all set for my next adventure, heading off to Marilyn’s friend’s place. But something just didn’t feel right. I had that little gut feeling saying, “Don’t go.”

So, for once, I listened.

I cancelled and decided to stay right here at Iparoma.

And you know what? I’m so glad I did.

I absolutely love the energy of this place. It’s peaceful, there’s space to breathe, and somehow being here is giving me the opportunity to explore all those little things I’ve had filed away in my head under “one day I’d like to…”

Well, apparently one day is now.

I’m spending quite a bit of time writing personally at the moment, which is helping me work through some things I’ve been carrying around for a while. I’m also dabbling in a few other interests, and it’s amazing how everything seems to be slowly coming together.

Sometimes adventure isn’t about moving on to somewhere new.

Sometimes it’s about staying exactly where you are long enough to discover something new about yourself.

So… my new adventure is actually my old adventure.

And I have a feeling there’s still plenty more to discover here at Iparoma.
