Last night was an absolute blast — 12 people turned up and Vildan only knew two of them! The mix of backgrounds was incredible: special forces, a PE teacher, a consulate advisor, a tourism consultant, and one very intriguing lady who described herself only as a “public servant” from a department she couldn’t name.
English levels varied, but that didn’t matter at all. The room was buzzing with laughter, wild hand gestures, and every emotion possible.
We started at 7:30 pm and somehow played right through to 11:30 pm. Taboo turned out to be the ultimate icebreaker — it gave everyone the confidence to dig deep and find English words they wouldn’t normally use in everyday conversation.
By the end of the night, everyone was chatting like old friends and loving the chance to connect with a native English speaker and other Turkish colleagues.

Unfortunately a few had left before we got to take the photo.
