Well, sometimes life’s great adventures come with the occasional speed bump.
After just ten days in Egypt, Jane’s grand new chapter has taken a bit of an unexpected turn. It turns out that Egypt might not be the perfect match for her—or for the dogs. The excitement of a new country has quickly been replaced with the comforting thought of heading back home.
There is, however, a small detail… Jane had already signed and paid for 12 months’ rent in an apartment block. Oops.
The silver lining? She discovered this before bringing the dogs over, which would have made things far more complicated. Sometimes a quick reality check can be a blessing in disguise.
So the plan now is a return to Bulgaria, where Jane will take a breath, regroup, and decide what the next move might be—whether that means selling the house or figuring out another plan for the year ahead.
After all, every good adventure story needs a plot twist or two.
